Pothole Repair Material

Innovative Asphalt Repair ^TM (I.A.R. ^TM) is a cutback asphalt product that has been designed and developed using the best available materials. It is produced with a specially tested and specified type of screened aggregate, which is then mixed with a thorough blend of quality controlled bulk bituminous liquid in an approved hot mix asphalt plant.

I.A.R. ^TM can be used year round for pothole and overlay repairs, utility cuts and other pavement repairs on highways, roads, parking lots, railroad crossing, etc. It can be applied in wet or dry conditions and in temperatures ranging from 5░F (15░ C) to 100░F (38░ C) without heating. When applied, it becomes a permanent part of the roadway. Removal is not required if subsequently overlaid with HMAC. As well, a tack seal is not needed prior to repair.

It can be stored in an outside uncovered stockpile, without drying or clumping, for up to three years. Unused material can be returned to the stockpile and used later and the stockpiled material will not leach or strip.
